The Field Service Technician / Help Desk Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems in a healthcare environment. This role supports end users both remotely and onsite, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and successful deployment of IT equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, review, prioritize, and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Provide technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person assistance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Utilize remote access tools to resolve user issues efficiently
- Support deployment and configuration of Windows 10/Windows 11 systems
- Assist in operating system migrations (Windows 10 to Windows 11)
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral equipment
- Perform Active Directory tasks, including password resets and account management
- Support and maintain Windows environments and basic Windows Server functions
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and customer interactions in the ticketing system
- Assist with inventory management, equipment tracking, and asset deployment
- Provide user training on IT systems, applications, and troubleshooting processes
- Support hardware troubleshooting and break/fix activities
Required Skills & Qualifications- 1-2 years of Help Desk or IT Support experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Active Directory
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Ticketing systems
- Basic Windows Server support
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Work Environment & Schedule- Location: Onsite (Healthcare/Medical environment)
- Schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM (onsite)
- After training: rotating remote evening shifts (Mon-Thurs, 3/4 PM - 11 PM)
- Saturday (remote): 4 PM - 12 AM (every 4-6 weeks; Friday off when scheduled)

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
