Summary

Position Title: ServiceNow Platform Architect
Location: Chattanooga, TN - hybrid at the client site
Work sponsorship is not available.
Duration: 11/1/26-4/30/27; then the client will hire directly

This position is located in Chattanooga, TN in a hybrid working environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Architect, Administer, and Develop Applications for the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will understand IT operations and software development principles. They will lead the necessary tasks to design and develop configurations and customizations for platform administration and component development. The successful candidate is able to work both independently and as a productive member of a project team, providing technical and delivery leadership. The position requires the candidate to work closely with key client stakeholders and senior technology leaders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification
  • Senior level architecture and governance experience on a large ServiceNow implementation.
  • Develop and govern platform architectures and tooling standards, including reusable components and reference architectures.
  • Lead strategic infrastructure planning and platform roadmaps that align with product and business strategy.
  • Embed "protective" enablement (governance, security, compliance, and automation) into self service platform capabilities so teams can operate autonomously within safe guardrails.
  • Reduce delivery friction by designing platforms that increase reuse and self service adoption
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects, SREs, security, data and cloud teams to manage interdependencies and ensure platform alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or an equivalent field
  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations

  • Expertise in CMDB and core ServiceNow Modules
  • ServiceNow Administration
  • ServiceNow Governance
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
OPTIONAL:
  • Desired qualifications/non essential skills required
  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) certification
  • Deeper expertise desired in select ServiceNow modules: ITAM/ITOM, GRC, SPM, TPSM
  • ITIL principles
  • Network and server platform security
