JOB DESCRIPTION

The Front-End Infrastructure team is looking for a highly experienced and driven engineer with deep expertise in front-end verification environments, tools, and methodologies. This position demands strong technical leadership across multiple verification platforms, along with a proven ability to design, scale, and support complex FE infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in regression systems, tool enablement, and close collaboration with leading EDA vendors to solve challenging infrastructure problems.

Verification Flow Development and Support
You will architect, implement, and continuously refine robust, scalable, and high-performance verification flows. This includes developing advanced flow-based regression frameworks and providing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to support evolving project needs. You will ensure verification environments remain reliable, efficient, and adaptable as designs and methodologies mature.

Regression Execution, Monitoring, and Debugging
You will own regression systems and triage processes, managing large-scale regression execution and resolving failures efficiently. This role involves deep analysis of coverage results, regression failures, and flow stability issues. You will work closely with users to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain uninterrupted verification progress.

EDA Tool Enablement and Vendor Collaboration
Serving as the primary escalation point for Synopsys VCS-related issues, you will diagnose complex tool problems and deliver effective solutions. You will maintain regular engagement with EDA vendors, coordinating issue resolution, tracking tool enhancements, and ensuring verification teams benefit from the latest tool capabilities and best practices.

RTL Architecture Tool Integration and Support
You will deploy, integrate, and support RTL architecture and analysis tools, ensuring seamless interoperability with front-end verification flows. This includes addressing tool configuration, performance, and user support needs across teams.

Version Control and Configuration Management
You will apply advanced expertise in Git and related version control systems to support and optimize code and configuration management workflows, ensuring consistency and traceability across verification environments.


Qualifications

  • Extensive industry experience in front-end verification infrastructure, supported by a Bachelor s, Master s, or PhD in a relevant technical field

  • Demonstrated success designing, supporting, and troubleshooting FE verification flows and CAD infrastructure for large, high-performance designs

  • Strong background in regression frameworks, coverage analysis, and regression failure debugging

  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools, including Synopsys VCS, IES, and RTL architecture tools, with knowledge of x-propagation configuration

  • Deep understanding of version control systems such as Git and Perforce, including hybrid Git Perforce workflows

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working directly with EDA vendors

  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in both independent and team-based environments
