The OpportunityWe collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Whitehall region seeking Applications Engineers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new applications and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing applications and procedures.
- Conduct training for manufacturing personnel on new and updated applications.
- Participate in the selection, testing, and deployment of new manufacturing software solutions.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Support the integration of various manufacturing systems and data streams.
Recommended Qualifications- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with PLCs, SCADA, or MES systems.
- Familiarity with robotics or automation platforms.
- Knowledge of data acquisition and analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R).
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and smart manufacturing.
- Certified in relevant industry standards (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
