The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Help Desk Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues specific to manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with specialized manufacturing equipment software and connected devices.
- Document, track, and monitor help desk requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
- Assist manufacturing personnel with enterprise resource planning (ERP) system navigation and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on factory floor workstations and peripheral devices.
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors.
Recommended Qualifications- Associate's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience supporting hardware and software in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and common office productivity suites.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial equipment or specialized software (e.g., PLCs, MES) is a plus.
