Role Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Scrum Master to support a technical team focused on API and 3rd party file integrations. This role is integral to ensuring the adoption of effective Scrum practices, coordinating delivery, and facilitating cross-team collaboration. The position requires a candidate who can operate effectively within a technical environment and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a technical team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and adherence to Scrum principles.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support the team in delivering on project goals related to API and 3rd party file integrations.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the team, articulating risks, dependencies, and priorities to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain the team's backlog and workflow within Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Coach team members on Agile best practices and Scrum framework application.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- Proven experience as a senior-level Scrum Master.
- Demonstrated experience supporting API and integration-focused technical teams.
Technical Skills:- Advanced expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO) is required.
Professional Skills:- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and Scrum leadership abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience within the Healthcare or IT industries is preferred.
Work Environment
This role is based in the Chicago area. The candidate must be able to work on-site as needed to collaborate with the team.
Compensation
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is between $60.00 and $70.00 USD.
