Must Have Qualifications- Experience supporting engineering projects within LNG, utility, industrial, energy, oil & gas, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments
- Strong understanding of project engineering principles and project lifecycle management
- Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation
- Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and vendor deliverables
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, operations, and project management teams
- Strong communication and technical writing skills

This team is responsible for executing major capital improvement projects involving LNG facilities, process systems, electrical distribution, instrumentation and controls, vaporization systems, liquefaction equipment, and overall plant modernization efforts. Engineers on this team work closely with stakeholders across engineering, construction, operations, and leadership to deliver projects that directly impact the reliability and resiliency of critical energy infrastructure.

Position OverviewWe are seeking an LNG Project Engineer to support the delivery of major LNG capital projects. This individual will serve as a key liaison between project management, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors while helping ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within scope, and according to technical requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large-scale industrial or utility projects and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where engineering, construction, and operations intersect.

Responsibilities- Support engineering and project management teams throughout project lifecycles
- Review engineering designs, technical specifications, calculations, and vendor submittals
- Coordinate vendor document reviews and comment resolution
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and execution activities
- Support responses to RFIs and technical questions
- Assist with change order reviews and project documentation
- Track project deliverables and support project reporting activities
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Provide field support during construction and implementation phases
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, standards, and company procedures
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- LNG, utility, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, process plant, or energy industry experience
- Experience supporting capital projects through design, construction, and commissioning
- Familiarity with engineering design reviews and construction support activities
- Strong project coordination and technical documentation experience
- EIT certification or progress toward PE licensure is a plus
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hopkinton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
