Title: Solution Architect (Healthcare, AWS Integration) Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Position: Contract
Summary:
The Solution Architect will lead the technical architecture for the Clients ADP Integration program, designing scalable, secure, and cloud native solutions on AWS to support Enrollment, Eligibility, and Plan Setup for a healthcare insurer.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the end to end solution architecture for ADP integration
Design cloud native architectures using: AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS / EventBridge, DynamoDB & S3
Define canonical data models and integration patterns between: ADP, Cloud services, Core insurer systems (e.g., CICS / mainframe)
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI security, and insurer regulatory requirements
Produce architecture artifacts: High and low level designs, Sequence diagrams, Security and deployment architecture
Review designs and code to ensure adherence to architecture standards
Support delivery estimation, scalability planning, and risk identification
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years in solution/enterprise architecture roles
Strong experience designing systems for Healthcare Insurers
Deep expertise in AWS cloud services
Experience with API first and event driven architectures
Knowledge of integration with legacy/mainframe systems
Strong security and compliance design background (HIPAA)
Preferred:
Experience with ADP or other Benefits Administration platforms
Prior work on Enrollment / Eligibility modernization programs
