Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Manual Test Lead/Manager with strong experience in NASWA SIDES and Unemployment Insurance (UI) systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NASWA SIDES integrations, unemployment claims processing, government data exchanges, and enterprise application testing. This role will lead quality assurance efforts for modernizing unemployment insurance data exchange processes, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant solutions while coordinating with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead testing strategy, planning, execution, and quality assurance activities for enterprise unemployment insurance and NASWA SIDES implementations. Validate application architecture, workflows, and integrations supporting NASWA SIDES exchanges and unemployment insurance processing. Ensure compliance with NASWA SIDES technical specifications, data exchange standards, and security requirements. Review and validate secure API integrations, web services, electronic notifications, and automated workflow processes. Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, including development, database, integration, and business stakeholders. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and defect management processes. Lead integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing efforts. Validate XML, SOAP, JSON, and REST-based data exchanges between internal and external systems. Collaborate with technical teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration and application issues. Participate in architecture reviews and provide quality assurance recommendations throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure proper documentation of testing activities, defects, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments. Support CI/CD validation processes and quality controls for application deployments. Mentor testing teams and establish testing standards, best practices, and quality governance processes. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and quality objectives are achieved. Required Qualifications Experience with NASWA SIDES (State Information Data Exchange System) exchanges and technical specifications. Experience supporting NASWA SIDES integrations, unemployment insurance claims processing, and government data exchange programs with state agencies. Extensive experience testing enterprise-level applications built using technologies such as C#/.NET, Java Enterprise, or similar platforms. Experience testing secure web services, including REST and SOAP APIs. Strong understanding of XML and JSON data exchange standards. Experience validating integrations between internal systems and external partner systems. Knowledge of software development lifecycle, software engineering principles, architecture patterns, and quality assurance methodologies. Experience leading testing teams, coordinating project activities, and managing quality assurance deliverables. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills within complex web-based environments. Experience validating CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Experience creating and reviewing technical documentation, system diagrams, data flow models, and testing artifacts. Experience working with multiple relational database platforms, including DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle. Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting validation. Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and enterprise integration platforms. Experience supporting large-scale modernization or digital transformation initiatives. Knowledge of secure data exchange protocols, encryption standards, and data protection practices. Experience working in government, public sector, workforce services, unemployment insurance, or benefits administration environments. Experience mentoring QA teams and establishing enterprise testing standards and best practices. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
