Summary

Title: IT Developer

Remote role: Desirable if the candidate is located in California, San Francisco or Sacramento office location.

We are seeking an experienced IT Developer to join our team supporting the Client. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in enterprise application development, cloud modernization, and secure system design.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in software design, development, and architecture.

Expertise across full SDLC, enterprise application architecture, and cloud deployment.

Strong background in Lucee/ColdFusion, Perl, Oracle 19c, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and secure integrations.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

Experience with AWS, additional relational/cloud databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).

Web application development with Java (Spring/Hibernate), RESTful APIs, and modern JavaScript.

Advanced reporting and analytics with Power BI.

Familiarity with accessibility standards and digital government strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, implement, and document application changes, integrations, and database enhancements.

Architect and optimize Oracle 19c databases, SQL/PLSQL, and reporting solutions (Power BI, Crystal Reports).

Develop and maintain solutions using Lucee/ColdFusion, Perl, Java, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Lead cloud modernization initiatives on Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, serverless) and support CI/CD pipelines.

Ensure application security, compliance (PCI DSS, Azure AD), and performance tuning.

Collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver projects on time and within scope.

Provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in daily standups and planning sessions.
