Position Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated Power BI Developer / Business Intelligence Analyst to design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions that support critical business operations. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, and deliver actionable insights through Power BI, SQL, and enterprise data warehouse technologies.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in business intelligence development, data warehousing concepts, SQL programming, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with business partners and internal customers to gather, analyze, and document reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain medium to complex reporting solutions using Power BI Service, Power BI Paginated Reports, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Develop and support Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries against Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
  • Develop and maintain DAX and MDX calculations, measures, and business logic for reporting solutions.
  • Query and analyze Tabular and Multi-Dimensional models within Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  • Partner with Finance, Project Management, Resource Management, Operations, and other business units to deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Coordinate with Information Technology teams to support data integration, infrastructure, and reporting initiatives.
  • Develop systematic solutions to complex business problems using data-driven methodologies.
  • Apply project management principles to support successful execution of projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and warehouse documentation to support knowledge transfer and cross-training efforts.
  • Leverage existing enterprise reporting warehouses and develop local data solutions when necessary to support business requirements.
  • Perform data validation, analysis, and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.
  • Strong experience writing SQL against Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
  • Experience developing DAX and/or MDX calculations and measures.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power Automate workflows.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power Apps applications.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI Paginated Reports.
  • Experience querying Tabular and Multi-Dimensional Models in Power BI or SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and reporting architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Agile project delivery.
  • Experience with Python programming and data analysis.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI Data Flows.
  • Experience performing business analysis, metrics development, and KPI reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis functions.
  • Experience in database design, creating tables, views, and stored procedures.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint environments.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Tabular Models and OLAP Cubes within Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and business challenges.
