Technical Project Manager

Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technology initiatives supporting the client's global Parks & Resorts, Cruise Line, Vacation Club, and related guest-facing digital platforms. This role is responsible for driving complex technical programs across multiple teams, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise-class solutions that enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical projects and programs through the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery on schedule and within budget.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Product Management, Architecture, QA, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders.

Establish and optimize Agile delivery processes, ceremonies, and governance models across multiple project teams.

Develop and manage comprehensive program plans consisting of multiple parallel projects and workstreams.

Monitor project dependencies, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to achieve program goals.

Create executive-level project reporting, communications, dashboards, and governance structures.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance team efficiency, collaboration, and delivery outcomes.

Manage hardware and software procurement activities related to assigned projects.

Establish fiscal controls, monitor program expenditures, track ROI, and manage project budgets.

Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams while aligning delivery efforts to organizational priorities.

Provide mentoring and guidance on project management methodologies, Agile best practices, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

Core Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

5+ years of technical project management and/or program management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives.

Proven experience managing cross-functional technical teams delivering complex software solutions.

Strong understanding of: Cloud technologies and platforms, APIs and service-oriented architectures, Database technologies, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Product development and engineering practices, and Technical platform dependencies and integrations.

Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Waterfall delivery frameworks.

Experience blending multiple project delivery methodologies to support business and technical needs.

Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and modern software delivery approaches.

Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Experience managing large-scale project and program budgets.

Strong ability to understand architectural concepts and communicate effectively with technical teams.

Proven experience leading governance processes, risk management, dependency mapping, and executive reporting.

Experience coaching and mentoring teams on project management best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting large-scale global software development programs.

Agile certifications.

Experience working within highly complex enterprise environments.

Experience delivering guest-facing digital platforms, e-commerce solutions, mobile applications, or customer experience technologies.

Familiarity with large-scale hospitality, travel, entertainment, or consumer-facing organizations.
