Leidos is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead ongoing platform enhancements and solution implementations for a large-scale enterprise environment. As part of the Digital Modernization team, you will drive ServiceNow continuous improvement initiatives, mentor fellow developers, and design robust solutions aligned with organizational goals.

responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead technical design, custom scoped application development, and workflow automation across ServiceNow modules.
- Direct and conduct code reviews, establish release management procedures, and mentor junior and mid-level development staff.
- Configure and write complex scripts using JavaScript/GLIDE, AngularJS, HTML5, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather system requirements, build integration pipelines, and maintain platform documentation.
- Support Agile ceremonies, debug platform issues, and ensure compliance with ServiceNow technical best practices and security standards.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and architecture (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
Minimum of 4 years leading software development projects and mentoring technical teams.
Hands-on development expertise in HAM, CMDB, CSM, and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules.
Deep proficiency in JavaScript, GLIDE, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, and custom application design.
Must be local to the Washington, DC / DMV area and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to start.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
Experience with ServiceNow AI tools (Now Assist), Automated Test Framework (ATF), and LLM API integrations.
Knowledge of Okta, Single Sign-On (SSO), and ITIL frameworks.
