Senior QA Lead – Digital Platforms, POS & Offshore Vendor Management

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Senior QA Lead to drive quality engineering across web, mobile, API, and digital ordering platforms. This role will lead QA strategy, automation, release governance, and offshore vendor management while ensuring high-quality customer experiences across integrated systems.
The ideal candidate has strong automation expertise, experience leading distributed QA teams, and the ability to partner with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and vendor teams to improve quality, testing standards, and release readiness.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of QA, test automation, or quality engineering experience.
3+ years leading QA strategy, automation initiatives, or QA teams.
Strong experience testing web, mobile, API, and end-to-end applications.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
Strong knowledge of API, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD environments.
Experience managing offshore QA teams, vendor partners, or distributed delivery models.
Proven ability to drive QA execution, defect management, release readiness, and automation progress.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, e-commerce, restaurant/QSR, loyalty, payments, promotions, or POS platforms.
Experience with React, React Native, Node.js, GraphQL, and microservices.
Knowledge of performance, accessibility, visual regression, and production testing.
Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Xray, TestRail, Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
Experience managing third-party QA vendors and improving quality processes.
Familiarity with AI-assisted testing and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute QA strategy across web, mobile, API, and digital platforms.
Lead test planning, automation, regression, release validation, and quality metrics.
Build and improve automated test coverage and end-to-end testing.
Establish QA standards, defect management processes, and release criteria.
Provide leadership and oversight to offshore QA teams and vendor partners.
Drive accountability for testing quality, automation delivery, and release readiness.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure platform quality.
Identify risks, improve testing processes, and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
Mentor QA engineers and create dashboards for quality metrics and release reporting.
