Quality Assurance Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality strategy and execution across our entire product ecosystem, including IoT devices, wireless technologies, embedded hardware, firmware, mobile applications, cloud services, databases, and AWS infrastructure. This person would need to be located in Atlanta, GA.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline

Relevant certifications such as:
* ISTQB
* Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
* Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)

* 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with at least 3+ years in a QA leadership or management role
* Demonstrable experience as a QA Manager, QA Lead, or similar role, with 5+ years in quality assurance (QA) and at least 3 years in a management position
* Proven experience managing QA teams, including training, performance management, and team development
* Proven experience managing and developing QA teams

Demonstrated experience testing complex systems consisting of:
* AWS-hosted cloud applications
* Mobile applications
* IoT devices
* Embedded hardware and firmware

* Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
* Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks

Hands-on experience with quality management and testing tools such as:
* Jira
* Firebase
* BrowserStack
* AWS CloudWatch
* Similar QA and monitoring platforms

* Strong understanding of database structures, cloud infrastructure, and mobile architectures
* Experience with defect management, quality metrics, and release validation processes
* Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with IoT, connected devices, smart products, or wireless technologies
* Background in firmware and hardware testing methodologies

Experience with test automation tools such as:
* Cypress
* Appium
* Selenium
* Comparable frameworks

* Experience with AWS cloud-native applications and infrastructure
* Knowledge of cybersecurity testing and secure software development practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
