About the Role
We are hiring a Python Developer to join our client s Treasury Technology team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial services organizations in the U.S. In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing applications that support trading, investment, and asset management functions. You will play a key role in developing automation solutions and implementing new features on an internal trading and treasury platform used by financial professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.
- Build automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.
- Develop and enhance features on internal treasury and trading platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Integrate financial market data into applications and systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Document technical solutions and contribute to system design discussions.
What We re Looking For
- 4 6+ years of experience as a Python Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming and backend development.
- Experience working with financial systems, trading platforms, or capital markets environments.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and building scalable applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $62.00 $65.00 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
