Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP CO-PA Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA Margin Analysis to support financial controlling and profitability reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) with hands-on experience in S/4HANA Margin Analysis (Account-Based CO-PA), enabling accurate profitability reporting, financial insights, and business decision support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support implementation and optimization of SAP CO-PA solutions in S/4HANA environments.
Configure and support Account-Based CO-PA (Margin Analysis) for profitability reporting and analysis.
Work closely with Finance and Controlling stakeholders to gather requirements and design profitability models.
Configure value fields, characteristics, derivation strategies, and allocation structures.
Design and enhance profitability reporting using S/4HANA Margin Analysis and embedded analytics.
Support integration with SD, FI, MM, and other SAP modules impacting profitability analysis.
Assist in data migration and transformation from Classic CO-PA to S/4HANA Margin Analysis where applicable.
Support testing cycles, user training, go-live activities, and post-go-live support.
Provide best practice recommendations for profitability and margin reporting.
Required Skills
10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on CO-PA.
Deep expertise in S/4HANA Margin Analysis (Account-Based CO-PA).
Strong understanding of profitability reporting, cost allocation, and financial controlling processes.
Experience with characteristics derivation, valuation, and settlement processes in CO-PA.
Strong integration knowledge with SD (Sales & Distribution), FI, and MM modules.
Experience with S/4HANA reporting tools, CDS views, and embedded analytics.
Strong configuration and functional design experience
