Responsibilities:
As a Ford Flat Rate Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing comprehensive vehicle inspections to assess the condition of Ford vehicles and identify any malfunctions or issues.
2. Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to accurately diagnose vehicle malfunctions and determine the most effective solutions.
3. Performing a wide range of repairs on Ford vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems, among others.
4. Adhering to all company guidelines and procedures for inspection, diagnosis, and repairs.
5. Keeping up-to-date with the latest Ford technology and repair techniques to ensure high-quality service to our customers.
6. Communicating effectively with team members and service advisors, providing detailed explanations of technical diagnoses and needed repairs.
7. Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you must have the following:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician, with specific experience working on Ford vehicles.
2. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.
3. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair vehicle malfunctions.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to accurately diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work as part of a team.
6. A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
7. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
