We are an established automotive dealership preparing to open a new service center. We are building the team now and looking for experienced technicians who want to be part of the center's launch and long-term growth.

We are seeking a Ford-certified Flat Rate Automotive Technician for our new service center. This technician will diagnose, service, and repair Ford vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards.

The ideal candidate can efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, identify the appropriate repairs, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work. Current Ford factory certification is required.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Ford vehicles
• Identify mechanical, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and other vehicle-system malfunctions
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to Ford factory standards
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety, maintenance, or repair needs
• Perform test drives and system checks to verify that repairs were completed correctly
• Use Ford diagnostic equipment, service information, technical manuals, and online repair resources
• Accurately document completed and recommended work on repair orders
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor or Dispatcher
• Assist Service Advisors with technical questions or customer concerns when needed
• Follow applicable warranty procedures and evaluate service and parts options
• Protect customer vehicles throughout the repair process
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Stay current on Ford technology, repair procedures, and required technical training
• Follow all safety, attendance, timekeeping, and operating procedures

Required Qualifications

• Current Ford factory certification
• Professional automotive repair experience, preferably with a Ford or Lincoln dealership
• Strong knowledge of Ford vehicle systems, diagnostic procedures, tools, and repair processes
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical malfunctions
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret technical service information
• Ability to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to fixing vehicles correctly the first time
• Effective time-management and prioritization skills
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Strong teamwork, professionalism, and customer-service skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Ford Master Technician or Senior Master Technician status
• ASE certifications
• Experience with Ford diagnostic platforms and factory repair systems
• Previous flat-rate dealership experience
