Summary

Role Overview
The Project Manager supports the Senior Project Manager in delivering IT modernization initiatives, ensuring execution of project plans, schedules, and deliverables aligned with PAL processes and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day project activities, timelines, and deliverables
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans
Support planning, procurement, and implementation readiness activities
Assist in development of RFPs and vendor evaluation processes
Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to project governance and reporting standards
Support change management and documentation efforts
Prepare status reports and maintain project documentation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
PMP Certification (mandatory)
Minimum 5+ years of project management experience, including:
- 3+ years leading large or complex IT projects
Minimum 3+ years using Microsoft Project for scheduling
Experience managing at least 1 IT project ($10M+) through PAL approval

Preferred Qualifications

6+ years of project management experience
Experience managing multiple large IT projects
Public sector or government project experience
Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
