Role Overview
We are seeking AI Security Engineers at both the Senior and Mid-Level to design, consult on, and actively build a secure AI security harness. Senior-level candidates will operate at a strategic level, advising on architecture and leading design. Mid-level candidates will focus on hands-on implementation. This role requires translating security concepts into real-world solutions by building guardrails and embedding security directly into AI applications and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with security, data science, and engineering teams to define AI security architecture and best practices.
- Advise on secure design for AI/ML and LLM-based applications and establish frameworks for responsible AI usage, model governance, and data protection.
- Design and implement security controls for AI/ML systems, including safeguards against prompt injection, adversarial inputs, and data leakage.
- Develop and implement LLM guardrails and monitoring mechanisms for AI misuse or anomalies.
- Integrate AI security controls into data pipelines, backend services, APIs, and CI/CD workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into production AI systems and build secure APIs and access control mechanisms.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Proven ability to build and implement solutions in AI/ML or LLM-based systems and backend services.
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML/AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain.
- Practical experience mitigating prompt injection, model tampering, and data exfiltration risks.
- Experience implementing LLM guardrails and secure model interaction patterns.
- Experience building or securing data pipelines, backend systems, API integrations, and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and identity and access control models (RBAC, IAM).
- Experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure, with familiarity in CI/CD pipelines and secure deployment practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing AI governance frameworks.
- A background that spans both cybersecurity and data engineering.
- Experience with model monitoring or observability tooling.
- Familiarity with Responsible AI or policy frameworks.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale AI adoption programs.
