Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Engineer (0 5 years) to support engineering initiatives across utility-scale solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and power plant operations. This role involves working on engineering analysis, project coordination, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will work under supervision initially, with opportunities to grow into more independent engineering responsibilities and decision-making roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering assignments ranging from basic to moderately complex projects
  • Support project planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution
  • Assist with performance tracking, reporting, and technical documentation
  • Analyze engineering data and provide insights, interpretations, and recommendations
  • Ensure designs and engineering outputs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and project management
  • Support onboarding of new sites (technical and administrative activities)
  • Prepare job cost estimates, construction documents, and required reports
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and compliant work environment

Engineering Focus Areas (based on project needs):

Electrical / I&C Engineering:

  • Power systems, electric distribution systems
  • Ladder logic, safe shutdown analysis
  • Tools: ETAP, EDISON

Mechanical Engineering:

  • Pumps, valves, heat exchangers
  • Pipe stress analysis, ASME standards

Civil / Structural Engineering:

  • Foundations, site grading, drainage systems
  • Seismic qualification, pipe supports
  • Tools: GT Strudel

MOV Valve Engineering:

  • Diagnostics, troubleshooting, valve program management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
  • 0 5 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and project coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (Solar, BESS)
  • Familiarity with controls systems and alarm management
  • Understanding of quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
  • Exposure to engineering tools and simulation software
