Rate: $69-79/hrFull Stack Software Engineer Role OverviewWe are seeking a
Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong
middle-tier and backend focus to support and enhance API-driven systems that power a large-scale
Contact Center platform. This role is hands-on and development-heavy, with primary responsibility for designing and building
new backend and middleware services that integrate with core contact center and collaboration technologies.
You will join a team of approximately
10 engineers, working under a leader responsible for two distinct engineering tracks-
Contact Center platforms (Genesys-focused) and
collaboration tools. Your contributions will directly support business-critical customer experience applications across multiple core systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend and middle-tier services supporting a Contact Center platform
- Build RESTful and event-driven APIs from scratch used across 5+ core enterprise applications
- Contribute to new platform development as well as enhancements to existing backend services
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and follow DevOps-oriented development practices
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, platform engineers, and contact center stakeholders
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance across API and middleware components
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices
- Support integration efforts between contact center systems and internal enterprise tools
Required Qualifications (Must Haves)- Strong backend development experience using TypeScript, Python, and JavaScript
- Proven experience developing APIs from the ground up, not just consuming existing services
- Solid background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps-focused engineering practices
- Hands-on experience working with a Contact Center platform in a production environment
- Experience building and supporting middle-tier services that integrate multiple systems
- Strong understanding of scalable, service-oriented architecture
