Job Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Pega Lead Developer with strong expertise in Pega Case Management and system integrations. This role combines technical leadership with active development responsibilities. The ideal candidate will design and build high-quality Pega solutions while helping team members, enforcing best practices, and partnering closely with architects, product owners, and integration teams.
Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications, with a strong emphasis on case management and workflow orchestration.
- Actively contribute to development (rules, flows, integrations, UI, decisioning) as a hands-on lead, not just oversight.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega designs.
- Ensure solutions align with Pega Guardrails, performance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Design and implement end-to-end case lifecycles, including stages, steps, SLAs, approvals, and escalations.
- Leverage case types, subcases, spin-offs, and wait shapes effectively.
- Optimize user experience for case workers using Pega UX (sections, views, dashboards).
- Design and implement integrations using REST and SOAP services, connectors, and Pega Integration Patterns (Sync/Async, Queue Processors, etc.).
- Collaborate with downstream and upstream system teams to define interface contracts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and hands-on guidance.
- Set coding standards and reusable assets to improve team efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Support deployment activities and production troubleshooting when needed.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.
Qualifications: - 9+ years of Pega platform experience, with significant hands-on development.
- Strong expertise in Pega Case Management.
- Proven experience with Pega system integrations (REST/SOAP, services, connectors).
- Solid understanding of Pega rules engine, flow rules, decision tables, and data pages.
- Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams.
- Pega certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA.
- Preferred experience with Pega Infinity (latest versions), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for Pega.
- Knowledge of cloud environments and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Pay Range: $65- $75
