Job SummaryOur client is seeking a highly skilled Frontend Web Developer to build modern, secure, and scalable web applications that empower customers to monitor, manage, and optimize their fleets. In this role, you'll join a full-stack engineering team with a strong focus on front-end development-collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers to craft intuitive user experiences and deliver high-quality, data-driven products for Ford's commercial vehicle customers. Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesProduct & Requirements- Participate in defining requirements, features, user stories, and test cases.
- Support or lead discussions in stand-up meetings and Agile ceremonies.
- Create and maintain process documentation, technical design artifacts, and support materials.
Design, Development & Deployment- Develop new features and capabilities for connected vehicle web applications using React or other modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with full-stack engineers and designers to produce scalable, maintainable, and polished user interfaces.
- Support backend API integration and work with services built on Spring and cloud technologies.
- Write clean, testable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
- Use CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments and development workflow efficiency.
Operations & Support- Participate in incident, change, and service request activities.
- Perform root cause analysis and help drive proactive defect prevention.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to existing applications.
- Contribute to architectural improvements and modernization efforts.
Qualifications- English proficiency (written and verbal).
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated pipelines.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Karma.
- Experience with backend development using Java, Kotlin, or Spring Frameworks.
- Ability to follow and contribute to coding standards, design standards, and Agile practices.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have- Experience working with Product Managers, DevOps teams, Big Data engineers, and UI/UX designers.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI (OAS) standards.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira or similar Agile platforms.
- Frontend development experience in production-scale applications.
- Cloud platform experience with Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
