Role Overview
The Fennec TCU Software Design & Release Engineer is responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of Fennec software across global vehicle programs and electrical architectures. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires cross-functional coordination, disciplined release management, and hands-on vehicle support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of Fennec software for vehicle programs.
- Ensure cross-functional coordination between technical and non-technical teams.
- Oversee the software release management process.
- Provide hands-on support for vehicle integration and testing.
- Author comprehensive engineering documents and deliver technical presentations.
- Establish project frameworks, including milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Execute Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Technical Skills:- Experience operating within Agile frameworks using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of software planning and the vehicle program release lifecycle.
- Understanding of automotive quality standards.
- Skills in Process Validation and Application Design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Ford systems, specifically WERS and IVS.
