A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Cloud Virtualization Architect position.

Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location:  Chandler AZ

As a Cloud Virtualization Architect, you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining the target state architecture and design standards for the virtualization layer of the Internal Cloud Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) stack, ensuring the platform is repeatable, scalable, and aligned to Internal Cloud design tenets. Accountable for ensuring virtualization architectures deliver enterprise outcomes for resiliency, fault domain isolation, and consistent workload hosting across cloud modules that are designed for repeatability and built up through automation. Owns virtualization reference architectures, standards, and guardrails that determine how virtualization is deployed and evolved as part of the HCI stack (including alignment to VMware centric platform components referenced in the stack materials). 

- 5-7 years’ experience designing or architecting virtualization platforms for enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong working knowledge of VMware virtualization architecture concepts and how virtualization interacts with HCI stack layers.
- Experience defining standards/guardrails (reference architectures, patterns, constraints) for platforms consumed by multiple teams.
- Ability to translate resiliency and operational requirements into practical, enforceable architecture decisions.
Desired Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years enterprise platform architecture experience across virtualization and infrastructure hosting domains.
- Advanced VMware certification (e.g., VCAP) or equivalent experience demonstrating architectural depth.
- Experience architecting platforms that host mixed workload types (VMs, grid/batch, container platforms) and that align to repeatable cloud module style deployment patterns.
- Experience supporting modernization programs that require strong standardization, automation alignment, and governance.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $65/hr - $70 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
