Engineer

Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts, on a long-term contract basis. This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of software systems through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in enhancing product quality by implementing testing strategies and frameworks.

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute detailed test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the quality assurance process.
Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve issues during the development lifecycle.
Conduct benchmarking and competitor analysis to ensure product quality meets industry standards.
Perform continuous integration testing using tools like Jenkins and TeamCity.
Evaluate supplier contributions and sourcing strategies to ensure compatibility with project requirements.
Provide onsite training and guidance to team members on testing methodologies and tools.
Analyze project plans and recommend improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve testing challenges to maintain workflow continuity.
Document and report test results, ensuring transparency and actionable insights.

Requirements

Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
Proficiency in automated test tools and frameworks, such as Jenkins and TeamCity.
Strong understanding of continuous integration processes and tools.
Ability to write and execute comprehensive test plans.
Familiarity with benchmarking and competitor analysis techniques.
Knowledge of engineering principles related to software development and testing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience with training and guiding team members on testing processes and tools.
