Public Health Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a creative communicator to drive strategic marketing and outreach initiatives across regional and local public health services. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership, regional teams, and an ad agency to build engaging campaigns, combat health misinformation, and increase community trust.

Location: Nashville, TN

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy: Facilitate leadership workgroups to create regional marketing plans and partner with an advertising firm on campaign design.
Content Creation: Design print and digital educational materials aligned with brand standards.
Web Management: Maintain regional and local webpages using website content management systems.
Community Engagement: Collaborate with Health Promotion Coordinators to build culturally relevant outreach that increases service awareness.

Important Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience: 4+ years in marketing strategy, digital communications, and multi-project management.
Core Competencies: Content creation, social media management, website CMS proficiency, and strong writing skills.
Preferred Tools: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for graphic design.
Public Health Knowledge: Familiarity with public health principles or community engagement strategies is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Travel & Residency: Up to 25% in-state travel. Must be a current Tennessee resident (or relocate prior to start date).
