Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid. Onsite Monday-Thursdays and can work remotely from home on Fridays)

Role Overview
This role is focused on the technical execution of graphic design for footwear. The Production Graphic Designer will take established graphics and prepare them for production by creating detailed tech pack schematics. The position requires strong technical skills and an interest in the production side of design, rather than conceptual or branding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute graphics from designers for production purposes.
- Create and build technical pack schematics.
- Make informed design decisions during the production process.
- Maintain and prepare files for product design, including tasks like pre-press color separations.
Required Qualifications
Education: A degree in Graphic Design or a similar field is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in schematic or graphic production design is necessary. Relevant fields include packaging, print design, footwear, technical graphic design, book design, or typography.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator is required. Candidates must have experience creating technical schematics and an understanding of design thinking in a production context.
Portfolio: A portfolio that demonstrates technical graphic design skills is required. It should include design schematics, process work for print or product design, and examples of digital design for print, labeling, or packaging. Portfolios focused on illustration, branding, or conceptual work will not be a fit for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of pre-press, screen printing, trims, and the printing process.
- Understanding of typography and pre-press color separations.
- Previous experience within the footwear industry.
- An interest in footwear design.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Please note that a comprehensive benefits package is available for our contract employees.
