Job Description:
IT Program Manager III

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of defined deliverables, which requires engagement from multiple teams. The IT Program Manager III will communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables. This position ensures execution and delivery meet client expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for defined deliverables.
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates.
  • Promote communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion.
  • Gather and facilitate status updates for stakeholders and leadership regarding delivery, risks, issues, and schedule.
  • Ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor and stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with enterprise change management standards.
  • Guide projects through all phases, ensuring required standards and processes are followed and tracking systems are updated.
  • Develop and manage the project plan, and provide project status metrics to senior leaders.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, formulate agendas, and document minutes and action items.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years of end-to-end project and change management experience.

Skills:
  • Experience in project management, problem management, and incident management.
  • Hands-on experience in Change Manager for handling and reviewing changes.
  • Experience with project document review and test estimations.
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban processes.
  • Strong project financial management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.


Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on working experience with JIRA.
  • Work experience with BMC Remedy and ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
