Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team. This role involves developing new functionalities in a core Treasury application to enhance its Resolution and Recovery Planning (RRP) capabilities, a regulatory-mandated process. The position also encompasses trade bookings within Treasury, specifically related to Funds Transfer Pricing, and operates within a Scrum Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance application functionalities for Resolution & Recovery Planning.
- Manage trade booking processes within the Treasury domain.
- Work within a Scrum Agile team, collaborating with the team lead and internal Line of Business & Technology units.
- Design and implement ETL processes using tools such as SQL*Loader, External Tables, and UTL_FILE.
- Create and manage reusable procedures, functions, and packages.
- Write anonymous procedural blocks using conditional structures and loops.
- Implement automated row-level and statement-level database triggers.
- Handle static, dynamic, and explicit REF CURSOR types for data manipulation.
- Design robust error-trapping routines using custom exception blocks.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:- Advanced SQL, including mastery of complex joins, subqueries, and analytical functions.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, including stored subprograms, cursor management, exception handling, and the use of collections and records.
- Experience with development environments such as Oracle SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer.
- Basic Linux or Unix Shell scripting knowledge for automating batch operations.
- Familiarity with .NET and C#.
Experience:- Proven track record of in-depth, hands-on software development and architecture.
- Experience with financial concepts such as BSM, Balance Sheet, CCAR, RRP, and GRRP.
- Understanding of Change Management functions as they pertain to internal bank operations.
- Understanding of basic financial and managerial accounting concepts (GAAP and IFRS).
