QA Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Engineer in Fremont, CA.

Responsibilities:
* QA Engineer will design and develop advanced test suites using object-oriented programming methodologies
* Implement and execute test strategies across all supported platforms and programming languages to improve overall product quality and test coverage
* Perform both functional testing and automation testing
* Develop and execute backend integration tests and testing for RESTful APIs
* Build and maintain automation frameworks and automated test cases using Selenium and Python
* Design and execute integration, regression, and stress tests using industry-standard testing tools
* Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Developers to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases
* As a QA Engineer, you will perform Web and UI testing to validate user experience and front-end functionality
* Define, implement, and maintain test plans, test specifications, and test suites
* Provide technical leadership by driving engineering best practices and supporting the planning and execution of large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-9 years of experience
* Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Web and UI testing
* Tech Stack

* Playwright
* Selenium
* PyTest
* Architecture
* REST APIs
* Databases
* MySQL

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
