Pay: $20-$23/hour

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Battery Swap Technicians to support a local battery replacement project at customer sites. This role involves traveling to assigned locations to remove, replace, and document battery units. No weekly or overnight travel is required, but technicians must use their own vehicle to travel between local sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform battery swaps and equipment handling at customer locations
• Remove and install battery units safely and according to procedures
• Complete basic inspections and document work performed
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies
• Maintain accurate service and activity reports
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle required for daily site-to-site travel
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to read instructions and complete documentation in English
• Comfortable working independently
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with batteries, electrical systems, or technical field work
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Warehouse, technician, or light industrial experience

Travel & Mileage

• Local travel only (no weekly or overnight travel)
• Personal vehicle required
• Mileage reimbursement provided for travel exceeding 40 miles

This is a Contract position based out of East Syracuse, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr.
