Job Overview:
Pay Range: $25.10hr - $30.10hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- BA/BS in communications, teaching, IT or similar field; or Associate Degree w/2 yr of IT experience; or IT Certifications w/4 yr IT experience.
- 4+ years of work experience in IT technical training or with computers, technology, IT applications/systems, and/or end user client support.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
- 1+ years of experience and flexibility to travel within the State of Georgia to provide scheduled in-person training classes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and teaching skills.
- Ability to maintain a personal credit card for authorized travel expenses.
- Possession of a valid driver license and ability to operate a vehicle for travel.
- Ability to provide a suitable internet connection and environment when teleworking.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts IT application training classes and develops/updates content for training materials.
- Delivers IT training to staff on custom developed and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
- Delivers training for desktop, web, and mobile applications.
- Works with users to identify training needs, courses, and content.
- Publishes training schedules and course offerings within the Learning Management System.
- Administers learner enrollments, testing, completions, and awarding of certifications.
- Reviews training surveys to obtain feedback to improve training delivery.
- Collaborates with business units to increase class enrollments and address technical needs.
- Facilitates vendor or contractor delivered training.
- Develops, updates, and maintains IT training content including PowerPoint presentations, Trainer Guides, Quick Reference Guides, User Manuals, Storyboards, and Videos.
- Engages technical staff to develop training content.
- Completes recordkeeping for tracking time, activities, and performance indicators.
- Ensures training environments and data are ready prior to training classes.
- Conducts virtual classroom training, on-site classroom, and webinars/user group sessions.
- Reserves conference rooms and equipment and makes appropriate travel arrangements.
- Participates in IT projects and provides user training support during product user acceptance testing and initial rollouts.
Nice to Have:
- 4+ years of work experience in developing role-based end user training content for IT applications/systems.
- 2+ years of experience in instructional design, visual design, storyboarding, and script writing.
- 2+ years of experience with Adobe Captivate.
- 2+ years of experience with TechSmith Camtasia.
- 2+ years of experience with Articulate 360/Storyline.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Teams.
- 1+ years of work experience with maintaining training records within an LMS.
- Experience with Oracle LMS, Cornerstone LMS, or Workday.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow.
- Experience using Scribe for content development.

Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor s degree in communications, teaching, IT or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to employ a variety of instructional techniques to engage adult learners.
- Proven track record of producing high-quality training content with minimal rework.
- Ability to adapt and respond in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused IT environment.
Physical Requirements(Due to nature of job, The candidate must have):
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to lift items to setup training rooms and transport course materials.
- Ability to drive and operate a car.
