Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst

Location: Plano, TX (5 day onsite)

Overview:

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will partner with business stakeholders and the technical team to gather, analyze, and document requirements, convert them into user stories with robust acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery through Agile ceremonies. The role also includes participating in UAT, triaging production issues, and conducting cross-system data analysis to validate functionality and inform decisions.

• Work with Business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document the business requirements.
• Create user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria (listing the possible scenarios in gherkin format) for the business requirements.
• Assist the Product Owner on product backlog management.
• Help prioritize the user stories based on the business value and the impacts.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement (grooming), daily stand-up, sprint review/demo, and sprint retro meetings.
• Collaborate with technical team to size the user stories during backlog refinement (grooming) sessions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical team to prioritize user stories for sprint planning.
• Help clarifying technical team on the business requirements.
• Participate in the user acceptance testing for the user stories planned in the sprint.
• Triage the production issues to determine if they are defects or enhancements.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis across upstream and downstream systems.
