Business Data Analyst V

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Data Analyst V to join their team in Mountain View, CA.

Summary:
The client's Corporate Business Development team leads the company's most strategic, cross-the client's partnerships with major platforms, financial institutions, and technology companies. The team works across the client to create customer and business value through partnerships that advance the company's growth priorities. We are seeking a hands-on Business Data Analyst to build and automate reporting, analysis, and visualizations that measure the outcomes and impact of our strategic partnerships. This role will support high-priority partner relationships, including leading AI and large language model partners such as Google and OpenAI.

The successful candidate will translate high-level business priorities into clear metrics, dependable data pipelines, and actionable executive insights. This is a temporary role for an adaptable, resourceful analyst who can move quickly in a fast-changing environment, use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully to accelerate work, and build solutions that can scale over time.

Responsibilities:
* Translate strategic partnership goals into structured analytical frameworks, clear hypotheses, and actionable recommendations; Create executive-ready analyses and storytelling that make complex data understandable and support decision-making by senior leaders
* Build AI-enabled analytics, automation, and development tools to accelerate data sourcing, analysis, reporting, and documentation, while following the client's data, security, and governance requirements
* Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and visualizations that measure the business, product, customer, and operational impact of Corporate Business Development partnerships
* Partner with Business Development, Product, PMM, Finance, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to define success metrics, data requirements, and reporting standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Masters degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
* 3+ years of experience in business analytics, data analytics, business intelligence, strategy analytics, or a related quantitative role
* Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python, R, or another analytical programming language; Demonstrated experience integrating data across disparate business units and source systems; Standardizing data definitions and metrics to create a cohesive, enterprise-level view of performance
* Deep familiarity with AI tools and practical experience using them to improve analytics, automation, or development workflows; Experience should include sound judgment about validation, privacy, and appropriate use of data
* Experience building dashboards and business-facing visualizations using Tableau or similar business intelligence tools, with familiarity using Splunk or comparable tools to analyze product, operational, or event data
* Strong communication and data storytelling skills, including the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Demonstrated business acumen and ability to connect analytical findings to strategic priorities, commercial outcomes, and clear recommendations for senior stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
