We are looking for a Oracle Financial Tester to add to our team. 
 
Job Overview:
 
 
 

Location: Alexandria, VA -  Monday through Thursday, while working remotely on Friday.
 
1- Senior Financial Systems Analyst -Functional Tester – GL Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials

• Resource to support Oracle Cloud Financials implementation by executing functional testing across core finance modules. Responsible for understanding business processes, creating test artifacts, executing end-to-end testing cycles, and ensuring data integrity and system quality. Works closely with business
stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to deliver accurate and reliable outcomes across testing phases.
 
o Understand business process flows across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Management (AM).
o Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts aligned with business requirements and process flows.
o Perform Unit, System, and End-to-End (E2E) testing within Oracle Financials Cloud.
o Validate business processes across GL, AP, AR, and AM to ensure functionality and accuracy.
o Execute end-to-end testing cycles including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash
(O2C), Record to report (R2R), and Acquire to Retire (A2R), ensuring data accuracy and process integrity.
o Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools, ensuring timely resolution.
o Collaborate with business users, SMEs, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality delivery.
o Support integration validation and reporting checks for data accuracy across modules and external interfaces.
 
Required Qualifications
o 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing for Oracle Financials Cloud
o Proven hands-on experience in functional testing for Oracle Financials Cloud.
o Strong functional expertise in General Ledger (GL), including journals, cross validation rules, allocations, and period close.
o Good working knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset
Management (AM).
o Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive and effective test coverage.
o Solid understanding of testing methodologies, QA lifecycle, and defect management processes.
o Understanding of integrations between Oracle Financials modules and external systems.
o Basic knowledge of executing and validating delivered and custom cloud reports for data validation.
o Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to independently lead testing efforts with minimal guidance.

Preferred Qualifications
o Familiarity with Procurement, Treasury, and Projects/PPM modules.
o Prior experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
o Experience supporting ERP implementations, transformation, or support engagements.
 
2 - Senior Financial Systems Analyst Functional Tester – AR/Billing Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials

• Resource to support Oracle Cloud Financials implementation testing by preparing and executing end-to-end functional test scenarios across core financial modules. Responsible for validating business processes, ensuring data integrity, managing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver
high-quality ERP solutions. Works closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to align testing outcomes with business requirements and implementation goals.
o Understand and analyze business process flows across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Management (AM).
o Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on documented business requirements and process flows.
o Perform Unit Testing, System Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) testing for Oracle Financials Cloud modules.
o Validate end-to-end business processes including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles to ensure completeness and accuracy.
o Execute testing cycles and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with business rules.
o Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA and follow through to resolution.
o Collaborate with business users, functional SMEs, and technical teams to analyze defects and drive resolutions.
o Support validation of integrations between Oracle Financials Cloud modules and external systems.
o Perform data validation using delivered and custom reports within Oracle Cloud.

Required Qualifications
o 5+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing for Oracle Financials Cloud.
o Strong functional expertise in Billing and Accounts Receivable (billing, receipts, collections).
o Good working knowledge of:
▪ General Ledger (journals, cross validation rules, allocations, period close)
▪ Accounts Payable (invoices, payments, supplier management)
▪ Asset Management (asset capitalization, depreciation processes)
o Experience executing full testing lifecycle including unit, system, and E2E testing.
o Strong understanding of financial business processes and module interdependencies.
o Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive test coverage.
o Experience with defect tracking and testing methodologies.
o Understanding of integrations across modules and with external systems.
o Basic experience running and validating reports for data reconciliation.
o Ability to independently lead testing efforts with minimal supervision.
 
Preferred Qualifications
o Experience with PeopleSoft Financials.
o Prior involvement in ERP implementation, transformation, or support projects.
o Familiarity with Procurement, Treasury, and Projects/PPM modules.
o Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

3 - Senior Financial Systems Analyst Functional Tester – AP & Expense - Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Financials
 
• Resource to support Oracle Cloud Financials testing initiatives by executing end-to-end functional validation across core financial modules during implementation projects. Responsible for preparing test artifacts, validating business processes, managing defects, and ensuring high-quality delivery of financial systems. Works closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to align testing outcomes with business requirements, with a strong focus on accuracy, process integrity, and functional expertise.
o Understand and analyze business process flows across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Management (AM).
o Develop detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and documented process flows.
o Perform Unit, System, and End-to-End (E2E) testing for Oracle Financials Cloud modules.

5 - Financial Systems Analyst  -Financial Data Analyst- Asset Management - PeopleSoft /Other ERP

• Resource to support enterprise asset data quality initiatives by analyzing, cleansing, standardizing, and validating asset information across systems such as PeopleSoft Financials and Maximo. Responsible for ensuring asset data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational standards. Works closely with maintenance, operations, finance, real estate, and IT teams to reconcile discrepancies and improve long-term data quality, with a strong focus on data integrity, governance, and analytical rigor.
o Perform data cleansing and standardization by correcting errors, normalizing naming conventions, and ensuring compliance with data governance rules.
o Analyze and profile asset datasets to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, and formatting issues.
o Build and refine asset hierarchies, including parent-child relationships and location structures.

o Perform quality assurance audits and testing to ensure data accuracy prior to migration or system go-live.
 
Required Qualifications
o Strong experience in asset data cleansing, standardization, and validation within enterprise systems.
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Power Query, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
o Hands-on SQL experience for querying, filtering, and updating datasets.
o Experience working with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/CMMS systems (e.g., Maximo) and ERP/FMS systems (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft Financials).
o Strong understanding of asset lifecycle, equipment classifications, and profile categories.
o Experience with data transformation, ETL processes, or query tools.
o Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage large, complex datasets.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
 
Preferred Qualifications
o Experience supporting data migration efforts for ERP or asset management implementations.
o Background in facilities management, utilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
o Familiarity with data governance frameworks and enterprise data quality programs.
o Prior experience working with both Maximo and PeopleSoft Financials in integrated environments
