DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
• Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
• Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
• Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
• Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
• Analyze “soft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
• Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
• Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
• Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
• Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
• Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
• Executes unit and functional test cases.
• May conduct system demonstrations and training sessions, as well as participate in design/review of training content.
• Plays a third level support role by helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production systems.
• Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
• Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
• Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
• Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
• Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
• Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

As a business and systems advisor, the resource will contribute to the analysis of needs, the optimization of processes, the support and the implementation of computer systems used in the context of Client construction sites, in collaboration with IT teams and users.
Context:
In the context of digital transformation of processes related to construction sites, the business and systems advisor plays a key role in aligning business needs with IT solutions.
In collaboration with IT teams and business units, this resource will contribute to the analysis, operational support, optimization, and implementation of systems supporting operations. They will also assist users in resolving issues, adopting solutions, and continuous improvement, while ensuring the quality, consistency, and performance of processes and data.
Tasks
The services sought include, but are not limited to:
- Provide functional support for systems related to site activities, including incident management, in-depth analysis and diagnosis of problems, requiring the identification of technical components and the coordination of their resolution;
- To ensure the application of work processes and contribute to their continuous improvement;
- Identify business needs, analyze functional gaps and recommend solutions;
- Participate in IT development projects, including testing, implementation and deployment;
- Collaborating with IT teams and users to facilitate understanding and implementation of solutions;
- Manage data and access to systems, ensuring their quality and integrity;
- Produce and maintain functional documentation and working methods;
- Provide support, training and contribute to change management for users;
- Participate in the development and execution of functional and integrated tests;
- Contribute to monitoring project deliverables, milestones, risks and dependencies;
- Produce analyses and performance indicators related to the unit's activities;
- Identify operational irritants and propose concrete avenues for improvement adapted to the context of the construction sites;
Profile
- Hold a university degree (Bachelor's) in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
- Possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, including a functional management role;
- Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze, synthesize and popularize;
- Demonstrate concrete experience in application support (management, prioritization and resolution of incidents) as well as excellent technical diagnostic skills based on a good understanding of application components, integrations, data flows and the architecture of digital systems;
- Demonstrate leadership, rigor, initiative and a good spirit of collaboration;
- Demonstrate an ability to quickly understand complex operational issues and to propose pragmatic solutions;
- Mastering project management tools in Agile mode (Jira, Confluence);
- Possess experience in opportunity analysis and in information system development and implementation projects;
- Demonstrate experience in business process modeling and transformation;
- Have excellent communication skills in French, both spoken and written;
- Being able to manage priorities and meet tight deadlines in a multi - demand context;
- Client's information systems and its value chain (an asset);
- Having knowledge of contract management in the construction sector (an asset);
- Having a certification in business analysis or experience in an Agile or matrix environment (an asset);
