Description75% nationwide travel / 25% local (home market) workA specialized "tiger team" of Level 2 data center technicians is being assembled to support the Hi-Fiber project for Google. This initiative focuses on replacing legacy coax cabling with fiber infrastructure across Google data center locations.
This team will be responsible for deploying into new sites during the initial
6-8 weeks of each project. Their primary goal is to establish workflows, set standards, and ensure projects are launched correctly and efficiently. After stabilizing one site, the team will transition to the next location and repeat the process.
During downtime between deployments, technicians will work in their
local Google data center.
This role requires experienced technicians who can contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up. Over time, additional Level 1 cable technicians will be brought in to support long-term project execution.
