About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Manufacturing Cloud Consultant with deep hands-on expertise in the fabless semiconductor space. Working onsite with our client’s IT and business teams in San Jose, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Manufacturing and SCM. A core focus of this engagement will involve integrating Oracle Cloud with FabConnect, a specialized third-party integration platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Manufacturing Cloud.

• Integration Collaboration: Partner closely with the FabConnect team and vendors to manage integrations with foundry and OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) partners, ensuring seamless WIP updates, lot status tracking, and receipts.

• Requirements & Design: Gather business requirements, translate them into robust functional designs, and author comprehensive solution documents.

• Testing & Deployment Support: Drive System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration, cutover activities, and navigate quarterly Oracle updates.

• Production Support & Training: Deliver expert production support, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide effective training to end-users.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Experience Level: 8+ years of Oracle SCM/Manufacturing experience, including at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud Manufacturing implementations.

• Industry Expertise: Hands-on fabless semiconductor background, including outsourced manufacturing models, foundry/OSAT collaboration, and lot-based inventory.

• Core Oracle Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Outside Processing, Lot and Serial Control, Costing, and Supply Chain Orchestration.

• Cloud Modules: Deep familiarity with Oracle Manufacturing Cloud modules: Work Definitions, Work Orders, Inventory, Cost Management, and Supply Planning.

• Semiconductor Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of fabless workflows—wafer fabrication, sort/probe, assembly and final test, lot tracking, genealogy, die/wafer yields, and multi-stage BOMs.

• Integration & Reporting: Exposure to FabConnect (or similar semiconductor B2B/foundry integration platforms) alongside working knowledge of Oracle Cloud integrations (OIC, FBDI, REST APIs) and reporting tools (OTBI/BIP).

• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the confidence to collaborate directly with business and IT stakeholders onsite.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with Oracle Planning Central, Order Management, or Product Hub (PIM).

• Background in high-tech or semiconductor environments (e.g., FPGA, ASIC, chip design).

• Active Oracle Cloud SCM/Manufacturing certification.
