Job Title: Power Automate Specialist Finance & Accounting
Location: Houston, TX(onsite 5 DAYS-no EXCEPTIONS)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Power Automate Specialist (Finance & Accounting) to evaluate, redesign, and govern workflow automation supporting core finance operations. This role will collaborate with Finance, IT, and Audit teams to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support long-term automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Review and assess existing Power Automate workflows and Power Apps used across Finance & Accounting.
Document current-state processes, identify gaps/redundancies, and create a modernization roadmap.
Establish standards and governance for the Power Platform environment, including:
Architecture & naming conventions
Documentation & version control
Security & approval workflows
Access controls and data governance aligned with financial compliance.
Refactor and optimize existing workflows; design and implement new automation solutions.
Integrate automation with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Implement scheduled and real-time data synchronization across systems.
Leverage Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps to improve visibility, consistency, and audit readiness.
Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Support adoption of automation best practices and ongoing platform maintenance.

Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps
Experience designing and governing Power Platform environments
Integration experience with SAP and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Experience with Dataverse and Model-Driven Apps
Workflow optimization and process documentation experience
Knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance
Experience working with Finance/Accounting stakeholders

Preferred Skills
Experience supporting financial compliance and audit readiness
Strong stakeholder communication and training experience
Experience creating automation roadmaps and governance frameworks
