Compensation: $55 - $65 hourly
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to help build the largest network in the world. This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary networking projects and offers opportunities to shape and deliver new methods of technology solutions at scale. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes and upgrades across our data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure build health, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions.
- Work with stakeholders, including engineers and senior management, to define requirements and processes.
- Manage project dependencies and interfaces, negotiating trade-offs as needed.
- Actively participate in the hiring process and mentor others to improve their skills.
- Manage multiple competing cross-organizational projects and programs simultaneously.
- Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management on a daily basis.
- Analyze, interpret, and visualize data using BI management and visualization tools.
- Create predictable process paths and drive automation and simplification initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience and 5+ years of data center, network engineering, and/or systems engineering experience. Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds is also required.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software).
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems.
- Experience in hands-on management of complex technology projects.
