The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a bank to identify an experienced systems strategist to champion a massive modernization initiative for commercial credit infrastructure. In this impactful role, you will act as the functional architect guiding multi-system connectivity, establishing integration frameworks, and ensuring seamless operational execution across enterprise financial platforms. Managing the candidate search on behalf of our client, StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber professional ready to elevate enterprise-level financial operations in a hybrid capacity located in the Buffalo, New York region.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect dynamic functional requirement frameworks to guide the modernization of primary commercial credit platforms across numerous upstream and downstream system connections.

  • Engineer exhaustive Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), mapping precise data flows and interface parameters through deep collaboration with cross-functional technical and business leaders.

  • Champion functional strategy across the entire software lifecycle, unifying divergent application squads while safeguarding compliance with audit guidelines and regulatory standards.

  • Synthesize complex operational needs into clear technical specifications, rigorous test scenarios, and comprehensive validation scripts that reinforce core banking processes.

  • Orchestrate post-deployment continuity by guiding software developers, steering multi-team validation efforts, and maintaining centralized compliance repositories for future inspections.

  • Drive project governance by facilitating technical alignment sessions, cataloging architectural decisions, monitoring scope adjustments, and enforcing timeline milestones.

  • Extract strategic user requirements from operational business units to guarantee that final technological builds align with broader commercial portfolio capabilities.

  • Empower mid-level and junior analysts through tailored mentorship in systemic analysis methodologies, research frameworks, and execution standards.

What You Bring

  • 8+ Years of professional experience driving system analysis initiatives within large-scale Banking or Financial Services institutions, with demonstrated mastery of multi-system integration project management.

  • Deep Domain Expertise across Commercial Lending Operations, Servicing Platforms, Payment Processing Systems, Regulatory Reporting Frameworks, and Core Ledger Integrations.

  • Proven Capability in drafting precise Data Mapping documentation, structural interface designs, and robust technical requirement sets for high-complexity initiatives.

  • Demonstrated Track Record performing as a lead functional authority, effortlessly translating operational concepts between executive business leaders and engineering personnel.

  • Advanced Technical Aptitude for analyzing complex Data Structures, verifying field relationships, and validating enterprise-level system interactions.

  • Specialized Knowledge of AFS Vision platforms highly preferred, or equivalent experience utilizing enterprise-class Commercial Lending Servicing Applications.

  • Exceptional Proficiency in Analytical Problem Solving, multi-stream management, and organizational leadership within dynamic corporate environments.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Hourly Rate: $54.00 – $60.00 / hour
