Chemical Technician

A globally leading consumer device company based in Santa Clara, CA is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join their team for the swing shift hours (2pm -10:30 pm).
Job Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, Manufacturing Technicians will be responsible for executing to standardized manufacturing plans and procedures as well as supporting next generation R&D engineering work orders. The scope of the role includes (but is not limited to):

Execution of standardized work based on documented operating procedures
Execution of engineering work orders in support of next generation technology development and/or foundry operations
Work closely with module engineering teams, providing continuous improvement feedback to optimize localized processes and procedures .
Train other technicians and engineering team members as needed and attain the status of module area designated trainer
Manage work area materials, ensuring no supply gaps.
Customer orientation, with primary focus on delivery commitments by consistently following MES job dispatch priorities
Key Qualifications:
Process/Manufacturing technician experience in pilot production/R&D cleanroom environment (min 5 years Thin Film Deposition )
Experience with lab metrology equipment
Experience with manufacturing systems via MES including statistical process control (SPC)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Associates Degree

Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% On site)
Pay Rate: $ 34.00 - $ 49.00 (DOE)
