Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality in our products and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance practices and be adept at implementing testing models to ensure product reliability and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and quality assurance tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Develop and implement stress testing models to evaluate product performance under various conditions.
Perform manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium to identify and resolve defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and guidelines.
Document testing procedures, results, and findings for continuous improvement.
Analyze quality assurance data to identify trends and recommend solutions for improvement.
Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability in testing.
Report findings and progress to supervisors or managers, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Troubleshoot quality-related issues and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into the testing process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related area.
Proficiency in using Selenium for web browser automation and testing.
Strong knowledge of manual testing procedures and methodologies.
Expertise in stress testing models and quality assurance testing techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards, concepts, and practices relevant to quality assurance.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and established guidelines with precision.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.
