Position OverviewWe are seeking a
Technical PowerApps Lead / Delivery Manager to oversee the execution, delivery, and team management of our PowerApps development function. This role will lead a team of 5-10 developers, focusing on
day-to-day delivery, stakeholder communication, and team leadership, while driving high-quality application solutions.
This role requires a
balanced leader who can manage delivery, support team members, and effectively communicate progress and strategy to leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Delivery Management- Lead and manage a PowerApps development team (5-10 resources)
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards are met
- Act as the primary point of contact for team escalations and issue resolution
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance oversight
Project & Execution Oversight- Drive execution of PowerApps initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
- Monitor and improve team productivity and delivery effectiveness
- "Own" delivery outcomes and maintain accountability across the team
Stakeholder Management & Communication- Develop executive-level presentations (PowerPoint decks) to communicate progress, insights, and strategic direction
- Partner with leadership to convey ideas, solutions, and recommendations clearly
- Translate technical work into business-friendly narratives
Operational Excellence- Address team challenges, manage workflow bottlenecks, and ensure smooth operations
- Act as a "hands-on leader" for team coordination and issue resolution
- Support organizational change and team growth within a scaling environment (~15-person org)
Technical Oversight (Preferred but not Required)- Provide guidance on PowerApps architecture and best practices
- Ensure solutions align with broader data and application architecture strategies
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in:
- Project management, delivery leadership, or team management
- Managing technical or low-code development teams
- Proven ability to manage teams of 5-10+ individuals
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-facing materials
- Experience creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations for leadership
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with PowerApps or Microsoft Power Platform
- Background in technical project delivery or application development
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
