Senior IT Project/Program Manager - C&I Gas & Power Retail Systems

Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)

Role Overview

The Senior IT Project Manager for C&I Gas & Power Retail Systems is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex IT initiatives supporting a Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy retail business. This role owns planning, execution, risk management, and delivery outcomes for projects spanning C&I billing, pricing, sales, and supporting retail platforms. The position provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to ensure timely and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own full lifecycle project management for C&I power and gas IT initiatives, from intake and planning through execution, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Serve as the primary IT Project Manager for a major C&I gas and power billing initiative to consolidate multiple billing systems into a single platform.
  • Manage the delivery of IT projects supporting pricing engines, pricing governance workflows, and deal structuring tools.
  • Lead IT delivery for sales-facing systems, including CRM, quoting, proposal generation, and contract workflows.
  • Own project-level financial tracking, ensuring work aligns with approved business cases, budgets, and WBS structures.
  • Act as the IT execution lead, working directly with C&I business leaders and IT leadership to translate objectives into executable plans.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, provide executive-level project oversight, and lead the continuous improvement of IT governance frameworks.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience: 11-15 years of experience in IT project management, with demonstrated ownership of overseeing enterprise-level technology implementations, transformations, or large-scale initiatives. Experience supporting billing, pricing, sales, or financial systems in a complex business environment is necessary.

Technical Skills: A strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, Azure DevOps) is required. Candidates must have experience leading M365 implementations (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform) and strong knowledge of cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise IT infrastructure. A strong working knowledge of project financials, WBS structures, and IT governance is also required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in energy retail, utilities, or regulated industries.
  • Exposure to C&I Gas and Power retail business models.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple systems, vendors, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Expertise in IT governance, business process optimization, and vendor management.
