Job Details

Job Duties and Requirements
  • Review a full range of income tax returns, including 990, 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
  • Lead the tax provision and compliance process
  • Identify and reduce tax risks
  • Develop and refine internal best practices to improve efficiency
  • Manage staff workflow and contribute to internal controls
  • Assist with staff relations, training, and ongoing development
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and team members
  • Deliver accurate work under deadline pressure and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience focused on small-business and individual taxation
  • CPA preferred
  • Enrolled Agent designation preferred
  • Proven experience as a Tax Manager
  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and multi-form tax return preparation
  • Proficiency with ProSeries, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop junior staff
