Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Remote (Candidates must be in CST or EST)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Employment Type: 9 Month Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a collaborative development team focused on building and modernizing customer-facing web applications. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native solutions using React, Node.js, and AWS serverless technologies.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can work independently, communicate effectively in a remote environment, and contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js and Node.js
Build scalable AWS serverless solutions using Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SNS/SQS, and related services
Develop and support microservices-based architectures
Create and execute unit tests and automated testing solutions
Participate in application design, technical documentation, and code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and software deployment processes
Support modernization efforts for legacy applications

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
7+ years of professional software development experience
Experience building and supporting enterprise-level applications in cloud environments
Strong experience working on Agile/Scrum teams
